Sauteed Mustard Greens and Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients: 

Brussels Sprouts, raw
Mustard Greens
Olive oil
Salt


Directions

  1. Cut ends of brussel sprouts. Rinse. Cut into quarters.
  2. Heat pan over medium heat.  When hot, add a tablespoon of olive oil.  Then add brussel sprouts. Stir occasionally.
  3. Rinse mustard greens. tear into pieces about 3" x 3". After sprouts have been on for 3 minutes, add greens.
  4. Cook everything for an additional 3 minutes. Add a dash of sea salt.

Why this works:  The brussel sprouts add a crunch and sweetness.  The mustard greens add a light kick.  It's warm, tasty, crunchy, sweet, spicy, and satisfying.

Preparation Time: 6-9 minutes
